TRAVEL MANAGEMENT COALITION

The Travel Management Coalition (TMC) represents some of the largest and most respected leaders in the travel industry: American Express Global Business Travel, BCD Travel, and CTM. Together, these companies manage business travel for a wide range of U.S. corporations and employ tens of thousands of Americans nationwide.

Unlike traditional travel agencies, travel management companies specialize in serving business travelers. These are frequent flyers who book trips using corporate funds. Their expertise and services play a vital role in supporting the travel needs of American businesses.

Recognizing this unique role, the U.S. government has distinguished TMCs from general travel agents in legislation and rulemakings, including at the Department of Transportation and through the FAA Reauthorization Act. 

The Coalition works with the U.S. government to support a strong travel industry by helping reduce barriers and minimize disruptions for travelers.
